Charge sheet

A charge sheet contains the offence (and the particulars of the offence) that the accused is alleged to have committed, the date and time that the offence is alleged to have been committed, and the person and/or property against which the alleged crime was committed. This charge sheet is lodged with the clerk in a lower court.
