Sectional title scheme

A sectional title scheme is a form of property ownership. The sectional title owner has full individual ownership rights over a particular ‘unit’ in the property, as well as an undivided co-ownership share in the common areas of the property. For example, a person living in an apartment block that is subject to a sectional title scheme will own their flat outright, and have an undivided co-ownership share in common areas like the parking lot and the swimming pool.
