Appraisal remedy

The appraisal remedy is the right of shareholders, who are dissatisfied with certain transactions taken by the company (e.g. fundamental transactions), to tender their shares to the company. Therefore, the dissatisfied shareholders are entitled to request the company to acquire the shares that they hold at fair value.
